Also included are minimap images (in "GIF" format), and map statistics files (in "TXT" format) for all of the maps that are included with the game. The media contained in "WAR2_WE\C_Drive\WAR2\MEDIA" subfolders (located in the root of your hard drive "C") includes all of the in-game cutscene movies (in "WMV" format), the game's complete CD audio music soundtrack (in "MP3" format), and the game's General MIDI music soundtrack (in "MID" format). Also included is a Warcraft II styled TrueType font for Windows (in "TTF" format), as well as some nice looking Warcraft II themed wallpaper for Windows (in "PNG" format). The programs contained in "WAR2_WE\C_Drive\WAR2\UTILITY" subfolders (located in the root of your hard drive "C") are several handy third-party utilities that can be used with the game (in addition to the standard Warcraft II "Map Editor", and the standard Warcraft II "Sound Effects Editor" utilities that shipped with the game). NOTE THAT *ALL* of the game documentation, media, and utilities can be accessed with the optional desktop shortcuts that are mentioned previously (refer to step "5" of the "Installation and Configuration Instructions" above). Lastly, note that complete documentation and more information about DOSBox (as well as playing multiplayer Warcraft II under DOSBox) can be found in the "WAR2_WE\DOSBox\Documentation" subfolder (located in the root of your hard drive "C"). IMPORTANT NOTES about the Warcraft II "Sound Effects Editor" Utility -------------------------------------------------------------------- When using the included Warcraft II "Sound Effects Editor" utility: The "Sound Effects Editor" utility that shipped with Warcraft II included a feature to restore all of the default sound effects that are used within the game (re: the "Restore All" button displayed on the main menu of the utility). The "SFXDAT.SUD" file is the data file that contains all of the sound effects that are used within the game. Normally when clicking on the "Restore All" button, the utility would copy the file "SFXDAT.SUD" from the original game CD-ROM to the game's "DATA" subfolder on your hard drive (overwriting the original file). In the case of "Warcraft II - The „Weeds„ Edition!", the subfolder is "WAR2_WE\C_Drive\WAR2\DATA" (located in the root of your hard drive "C"). NOTE that this feature of the utility does NOT function for "Warcraft II - The „Weeds„ Edition!". Simply copy the "SFXDAT.SUD" file from the "WAR2_WE\Configuration\C_Drive\WAR2\DATA" subfolder to the "WAR2_WE\C_Drive\WAR2\DATA" subfolder (located in the root of your hard drive "C") in order to restore the default "SFXDAT.SUD" sound effects data file.
